So as most of you have probably realized already the server has been crashing at random for a while now. I have done everything I possibly can to try to fix the issue, although it keeps occurring. After working with NFO Servers I have come to the conclusion it is quite possibly a Garry’s Mod specific issue, and until there is an update it quite possibly will continue to happen. From what I have experienced it is tolerable, and the server’s popularity has not suffered due to the crashes.

The server was reinstalled multiple times while trying to solve the crashing issue. This means the pointshop addon was reset, although I have made some changes. Temporary players will recieve 3 points instead of 1 in order to compensate for the last points. Personally I am excited for the economy reset on the pointshop, and I plan on adding more stuff to it over time.

To move on, I have some exciting news. I added weapons and spawns to ttt_concentration_b2, and it was was added to the rotation!

First and foremost I would like to thank everyone for the financial support. We have had sufficient donations and the server is alive and vibrant! Although it is important to note that money is finite, and the donations we have received will eventually run out. Now then… This is to answer some questions and to fill in the Garry’s Mod community with my intentions for the server. We are running into a problem with our kickers and moderators, and it is a good problem to have. We have such a quality group of people that it is becoming difficult to choose who can become a kicker or a moderator. It is not wise to simply make everyone I possibly can a kicker or a mod for the server’s sake. I do have a solution for our current staff though. I am going to create a new group called ‘Punishers’. This group will be able to slay and do more things to manage a server. My most trusted and active kickers will be upgraded to this group, therefore minimizing the ‘Kicker’ group.

Our Garry’s Mod Trouble in Terrorist Town server is going to be updated this Saturday, the 13th! The update will include changes to the pointshop, a new detective weapon, and a new map rotation. The pointshop will contain new items, donator only items, slightly increased prices, and a new player model. The detective weapon and map rotation changes will be revealed with the update.

We are in need of financial support in order to keep the server running. The Gmod server’s subscription tied to my personal checking account has been canceled as I do not wish to continue to support the server by myself. This does not mean I will not help along the way, but what it does mean is that I need everyone’s support to keep the server going! To donate please follow the link below. At the moment I write this we are in need of 20 dollars by March 15th in order to keep the server going. I have met a lot of wonderful people thanks to this server. Many have added me on steam telling me how much they appreciate the server, and how it is their favorite Trouble in Terrorist Town game server. So please share the love! It is really needed at this point. Most of the Viper Gaming community has grown a little bored of the server, and personally I do not play on it. This means it is up to the players to help us now. We are in need of a moderator, a new kicker, and of course some financial support.
